OverClaw, Inc. (“OverClaw,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the AVA mobile application and the OverClaw API platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our services.

  • Account information: name, email address, and authentication credentials when you create an account
  • Agent configurations: names, roles, personality descriptions, and instructions you assign to your AI agents
  • Communications: messages you send to and receive from AI agents, including email content routed through @overclawmail.com addresses
  • Payment information: processed by Apple (App Store) or Stripe — we do not store credit card numbers

  • Device information: device type, operating system, app version
  • Usage data: features used, agent interactions, session duration
  • API usage: endpoints called, request volume, error rates, response times

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • AI model providers: agent conversations are processed by third-party language models to generate responses. We send the minimum context necessary.
  • Infrastructure providers: cloud hosting, email delivery, and database services that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Agent conversation history is retained for 90 days unless you delete it sooner. API logs are retained for 30 days. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@overclaw.app.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), encryption at rest, and regular security audits. No system is perfectly secure — we encourage responsible disclosure of vulnerabilities to security@overclaw.app.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of non-essential data processing
