How we got here
OverClaw started with a simple observation: most AI tools make you do the work. You write the prompts. You copy the output. You paste it somewhere else. The human is still the glue holding everything together.
We asked a different question — what if AI agents could operate independently? What if they had their own email addresses, their own identities, and the ability to use real tools? What if you could hire an AI the same way you hire a person: give them a role, explain what you need, and let them figure out the rest?
That question became AVA — an iOS app where anyone can create AI agents with names, personalities, and real capabilities. And it became the OverClaw API — so developers can build the same kind of autonomous agents into their own products.
